Lowrance HDS & Elite users can download a highly detailed SHADEDRELIEF AT5 Aerial Map of Caddo. This will function just like any Lowrance mapping card. In a nutshell, you will have Google Earth mapping displayed on your unit.
CADDO-SHADEDRELIEF.zip file size is approximately 9.5GB download size with a extracted SHADEDRELIEF file size of 13.9GB so you will need a FAT32 formatted 16GB or larger MicroSD-card or SD-card dependent on your Lowrance unit. A fast read-speed is desirable. A fast-write speed only if you wish to use the card for other functions. I prefer a Samsung or Sandisk card which Best-Buy stores sell.
CADDO-SHADEDRELIEF.zip contains the 13.9GB SHADEDRELIEF folder. Just extract or copy the SHADEDRELIEF folder to the SD-card.
When you insert the Caddo ShadedRelief map-card, you can answer “Y” to the Caddo prompt or select to view “Caddo” under Map Sources. You must enable the ShadedRelief option under Chart Options to view. The mapping only displays the Caddo lake area.
Lowrance users have unique advantage with the Mayne CaddoBoatRows that allows when you select on a trail that the “name of that row” is displayed. This can be of advantage on Caddo.
I.E. You can determine you need to navigate C-row to V-row to N-row to O-row.
